The IARS International Institute is pleased to invite you to participate in the International Conference of the Mediterranean Migration Network! The Centre for the Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology (CARDET) in collaboration with consultancy firm INNOVADE, are hosting their annual international conference of the Mediterranean Migration Network, which will focus on the theme of ” Social inclusion and integration in the Mediterranean region: Challenges and Opportunities”.
The conference will be held at the University of Nicosia in the Cine-studio conference on Friday, October 26th, 2018, from 8:00 to 14:00.
The conference will focus on the areas of social inclusion and integration of Third Country Nationals in Cyprus as well as in the Mediterranean region, with particular emphasis on the challenges faced by stakeholders, as well as opportunities and exchange of ideas and practices from Cyprus and the EU.
As one of the panel speakers the Founder and Director of IARS, Dr Theo Gavrielides, will be presenting “The User-led Model of Social Inclusion” as part of sharing good practices from the EU on migrants integration and social inclusion.
During the conference participants will have the opportunity to attend specialised workshops for stakeholders who are actively working on migration and integration issues.
Registration and participation at the conference is free of charge and a certificate of participation will be provided at the end of the day.
The conference will be in Greek (with some presentations and workshops in English).
During the conference, translation services will be provided from Greek to English (and vice versa).
